Editia din acest an a competitiei fotografice "Wildlife Photographer" si-a anuntat de curand prestigiosii castigatori. La eveniment, care a avut loc in Muzeul de Istorie Naturala din Londra, au participat fotografi din 95 de tari cu aproximativ 50,000 de materiale de exceptie. Marele castigator a fost Tim Laman cu imaginea sa in care a surprins un urangutan de Borneo (specie pe cale de disparitie) in timp ce se urca pe un arbore in padurea tropicala din Indonezia. Fotografia este de o profunzime iesita din comun si de o intensitate aparte iar pentru obtinerea ei, Laman si-a petrecut 3 zile urcandu-se cu funia pe inaltul arbore pentru a monta pe el cateva camere GoPro ce puteau fi controlate de la distanta. Dar efortul sau a fost rasplatit pe deplin. In total, au fost desemnati 100 de castigatori in cadrul acestei competitii. Foto: Wildlife Photographer of the Year
